Consider the dates: If you want to book a family summer holiday, save money by focusing on the week before the kids go back to school. Holiday costs are generally cheaper for the last week in August and first week in September as most people prefer to jet off earlier in the holidays.

Go all inclusive: People usually stereotype all inclusive holidays as being expensive and out of budget, but it’s actually the opposite. It's surprisingly the easiest way to get great value for money as in many cases, it’s only slightly higher than a half board or B&B deal and includes so much more so it’s always worth checking out.
