Overview

This famous resort is the hub of Rhodes island, a favourite of the 18-30s crowd for its fun nightlife and late-night clubs. However, its other qualities are drawing more and more families and couples - Faliraki is also great for water sports, has a water park nearby and is close enough to Rhodes Town for tourists to visit for a day. Faliraki's sandy beaches are the place to be, offering something for everyone. Water sports are popular, and there are also waterparks nearby. You could even book a speedboat trip, try out the Firos Horse Riding Club or take a look around its mini markets. After dark Faliraki really comes into its own, with the resort's bar and restaurants opening their doors to the revellers until the early hours.

Don't be afraid of trying some of Falaraki's local cuisine - along the harbour you will find many tavernas offering real Greek dishes such as moussaka, fish souvlaki, meatballs and amazing Greek meze platters. What's great about Falaraki is that you can also grab your favourite tastes of home such as omelettes and burgers, and after a big night out you'll be grateful for an English cooked breakfast!
