In Kassiopi and Dassia, you’ll find beachfront tavernas serving up fresh dishes that’ll make you wish you had a second stomach. Got a sweet tooth? Make your first stop Papagiorgis - a famous patisserie and gelateria in Corfu Town. Here you can enjoy homemade ice cream and fancy cakes. Consider sampling the local kumquat liqueur too. It’s like a delicious orange diesel.

Swim in the Channel of Love

For loved up couples (well, anyone really, but you’ll see where we’re coming from), head to Sidari on the west coast. It’s home to the Canal d’Amour (the Channel of Love), a striking bay sheltered by custard-coloured rocks.

It’s perfect for lazy afternoons, whether you’re after a cheeky 20 winks on the sand or a relaxed swim in the green-blue waters. Single? Ancient Greek legend says if you swim in this channel, you’ll find true love. Let us know if it works!
